We are a Guardian Grower, a title awarded by the Region of Tuscany.Sequerciani is one of the companies entrusted by the Germplasm Institute of the Tuscany Region with programs to rediscover and promote ancient Tuscan varieties at risk of extinction. This program is conducted in an experimental vitarium with 14 ancient Tuscan varieties; the harvesting and vinification of these varieties will allow us to identify grape varieties that, we hope, will complement those we already vinify (Pugnitello, Fogliatonda, Ciliegiolo, Vermentino). These are the so-called “minor indigenous varieties.”
